   We were recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were all friendly. The views were a bonus too. Would love to return if visiting Rock again.

   Lovely setting, excellent food, good staff. Would definitely go back. Food tasted like it was freshly cooked. Would return.

   Lovely setting but the food was very average. Which was a shame as we had a lovely meal the year before and it was our wedding anniversary.

   Meal was lovely, well cooked and presented. Staff really attentive as well. Drinks are expensive in relative terms to what else is in the area but good and location great.

   Having been regulars here for a few years now I knew what to expect or at least I thought I did. Table booked for a Sunday evening to celebrate my wife’s birthday as usual the staff were amazing I can not praise them enough. We was asked for our order for starters as my wife is 8 months pregnant shell fish was of the menu for her so ordered the only thing that she was able to eat only to be told they had none they did there best and cobbled together a meat platter which again she really isn’t supposed to eat but not as potentially harmful as the shell fish. Starter was ok main was ok nothing amazing and then we had the same problem with desert again they had run out of the only thing she could eat and the only thing I liked on the menu was also sold out. The restaurant wasn’t even busy I wouldn’t of liked to of eaten on a busy day as I can see they you would of had no choice very disappointed

   The view from the terrace over the estuary is superb. We sat there on a sunny day and enjoyed a glass of bubbles with some nice food. Friendly service. Can see the lovely sheltered swimming pool (for hotel guests) from there too so you feel in the holiday spirit.

   The room we stayed in was very nice, clean and a good size, the shower facilities were good although I prefer a shower cubicle than showering in a bath for safety reasons! there could be a handle fitted at the end of the bath where you get in and out this would help make it safer. it was unfortunate when we were there that the towel rail sprung a leak but it was dealt with promptly and efficiently with little or no disruption to our stay.
