Simply named “Spring Street” for where we were located and “Natural” for our philosophy which from the beginning has been to serve whole natural foods that are minimally processed.

Wherever possible we produce our items in house from fresh natural ingredients and employ traditional preparation methods to enhance the healthful quality and natural flavor of our food. We have evolved our cuisine over the years to include high quality proteins such as fresh fish, free roaming poultry and select organic meats to go along with the best quality grains, beans and produce. All our preparations are bound by one unyielding mission – to serve healthy, carefully sourced and delicious food.

Several of us order drinks, but they seemed watered down. I had a pepper grapefruit margarita, which seemed pretty close to water with the pepper. A second drink was a little better, but not great. Wish I had ordered beer. My entre, the quinoa and lentil cakes were good, but not as exciting as our waiter billed them.

We had a nice evening, but as we were leaving, a female member of our group went downstairs to the bathroom and had to have words with some men who had been drinking and were loud and harassing. None of the waitstaff intervened. Dinner guests should not have to put up with that!

Mother’s day brunch. Food was cold. Service was terrible. Served us an ice cold “warm molten lava cake” for dessert and took at least twenty minutes to get another one after we sent it back. Won’t be coming here again.

The burger and spring rolls were very good. There was only (1) other table with a couple yet we had to keep looking for the server. I had a much better experience at the one on the upper West Side.
