   Our waiter was Raphael. He was extremely attentive and helpful. We could not have asked for a better brunch experience. My Father proposed to my Mother at the Rainbow Room on Valentines Day in 1941. She accepted and he promptly departed for the rest of the war. He was a lieutenant in the Royal Navy and was sent to the USA to pick up a destroyer that was part of the “Destroyers for Bases” deal by President Roosevelt. They did not see each other again until 1947, after the war was over and he was able to get a green card to immigrate. Needless to say...having brunch in the Rainbow Room 79 years later was quite an experience. Lots of memories here.

   A beautiful spot to celebrate any special occasion, high atop New York City. The views are incredible at The Rainbow Room. Buffet selection was very good. Do with there had been a chicken or turkey option as I don't eat red meat or pork and it would have also been great to see some gluten free options on the buffet. The room itself was beautiful decorated and the atmosphere luxurious but welcoming. I would suggest that patrons should follow the dress code however. Seeing people in sweat pants and hoodies was a little distracting from the general dressed up appearance of all the other patrons. The venue itself deserves a little more respect than that. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it to others.

   We were taking our son, daughter in law and baby grandson to brunch. I called ahead to make sure being in the baby was ok and the staff could not have been kinder. We had the most amazing experience. We have been at brunch many times but not with a baby. I must say he is a great baby and did not fuss once and loved his experience. The staff was phenomenal to our table. The food was exquisite and tasty. The seafood was fresh, the meats incredible including a roasted brisket that melted in your mouth. Desserts were off the chart and the S’mores bar was inventive and fun. The ice cream ruined me for life-no other ice cream could compare. This is a special venue , staffs by professionals who are engaging and friendly. Chefs are amazing and never disappoint . All staff from hostess station to the staff welcoming guests are so wonderful. This is my favorite spot in NYC and our little baby enjoyed his first upscale dining experience.

   The band was so loud, it rendered any kind of conversation impossible. The food was cold and the meat dish was undercooked. I had asked the hostess to have the band reduce the volume of the band to no avail. Overall this was a massive disappointment.

   Fabulous DINNER DANCE venue -- probably best and most iconic in the world. As a NYC landmark, the Rainbow Room really has a responsibility to do MORE DINNER DANCES (than once a year on NYE). My suggestion? QUARTERLY DINNER DANCES open to the public would be a wonderful starting point (and RR management might even come to like them and schedule more). RR management, if you do it the same as you did it for this splendid Valentine's Day dinner dance, it'll be SOLD OUT every time, guaranteed. More, please.

   It’s a lovely evening. The food however is cold and the music while amazing is way too loud. Lovely evening. Just needs a little adjustment.

    Very nice Venue and View Band was great Everyone of the guests were nice to each other Great service from waitress The appetizer was poor potato chip with dip ? - cod on toast ? Fois Gras lollipop ? second course - one shrimp ? main Rossini - a tough filet mingnon ? Desert - deconstructed cheese cake ? Wine was good at $90 per bottle
