   It was a great spot for dinner before the show we sat at the Lincoln Theater. The chicken bacon ranch tacos were out of this world!

   The water main broke and they kicked everyone out. Didn’t expect a discount, however the staff was halfway out the door before the customers.

   The Sports and Social on U Street was really fun! I'd never been there before, but decided to meet some friends there for the Eagles/Packers playoff game. The crowd seem to be older (mostly the late-20s and 30+ crowd), which I appreciated because I was worried a U Street sports bar would be full of drunk young "frat boy" types. The place had a great spread of TVs on nearly all the walls; the game was mic'ed so we could clearly hear the play call/announcers; DJ was awesome (great music during commercial breaks, then turned off the music when the game came back on). Our server (Diamond) was amazing. At one point or another during the 3.5 hours we were there, each person at my table (approx 10 people in and out over the course of the game) said something complimentary about her. She was serving as bartender and working a few tables (including ours). Even though the place was very busy, she still managed to check on us regularly, made sure we received the food and drinks from the kitchen, make jokes/have an upbeat attitude, and generally help to make us very happy we picked this "new" spot. In short, it was a great experience and I will definitely be visiting again.

    We had a great time and had great seats for the Commanders Eagles game! Great atmosphere we had such a good time we reserved a table for the Bills Chief game! GO BILLS!
