   This is a beautiful, bright, totally vegan restaurant with unique recipes for food and drink. The 4 of us loved our apps, drinks, and meals and wished we’d had time for dessert. The service was excellent, as well.

   I have been a huge fan of Spirit Elephant since they opened. The food, the service, the ambience have always been top-notch. I hope someone from the restaurant reads this review and takes it to heart. I asked my husband if he thought the restaurant was under new management because the vibe was so different from previous visits. One of the things that made Spiritual Elephant unique, in addition to the outstanding vegan food was the staff who have always been friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely engaged with customers. This visit was not like that. The overall vibe of the service was bored, IHOP level service My family of 3 had 5:30pm reservations for Easter dinner last night. The restaurant was not terribly busy, nobody was at the desk to greet us. When the manager did come to the desk, he was eating something and wiping his mouth. He & almost every staff member on the floor, had food stains on their shirts. Nothing was said about a limited menu for Easter dinner, the server just slapped menus down on the table and walked away Our server seemed bored & said “Are you ready to order?” Not even making eye contact. Again, the limited menu was not even mentioned. My salad came with a large black hair in it. When I mentioned it to the server, she removed the salad with the same boredom she had displayed thus far. However, the customer service was limited to removing the item from the check & a very casual apology from the manager. Nothing about a comp’d dessert? An offer for a comp’d mocktail? Nothing. The service was efficient, but robotic and disengaged. The food, aside from the black hair in my salad was delicious & beautifully prepared. It’s a competitive market for customers and in this climate, quality staff go a long way toward repeat business.

   This was our first visit to Spirit Elephant. We dined there to have a meatless meal where my wife, who has a seafood allergy, since it was Good Friday. It was wonderful! The cocktails and wine were the same as anywhere. We shared an appetizer of “chicken” eggrolls which were great. My wife had gnocchi with vegetables which she loved and I had to finish! I had the “forbidden summer”:: tofu and veggies in a terrific sauce. Despite the large portions, we shared an unbelievable carrot cake dessert. Our server, Dana, was wonderful: helpful, attentive and personable. A truly unique experience which will have us back in the near future!

   Had yet another great dinner at Spirit Elephant - relaxed, no hassle service and excellent food as usual. An elevated experience that doesn't feel forced, always enjoyable!

   Such a wonderful, upscale, eco vibe vegan restaurant with outstanding food!!! Everything was super yummy. Only thing constructive is that the “blackened” mushrooms weren’t blackened at all. They are just on a skewer with other vegetables and some of them had a little blacken seasoning on them. Still tasty as a veggie skewer but I was expecting a legit blackened mushrooms where it’s covered with the seasoning.

    This vegan food is unbelievably delicious!! I am not a vegan but we took my daughter who is a vegan. I can't believe how great this food is! We had gone there a few years ago but will now make this a regular visit. It is amazing the flavors that come from a vegan cooking style. The crab cakes taste like regular crab cakes. Plus, the menu is really diverse ands we had a hard time choosing. But it doesn't matter as all is fantastic. Now the service. It is absolutely top notch. Very knowledgeable serving staff and regular table visits by management to make sure all is great - which it is! Plus they all had smiles from the reception to the servers to the bus people. Looking forward to returning soon. Go and enjoy!!!
