First they change from having a great Prime Rib Buffet, to plating it. Now, last week, I get on the website to make a reservation for Saturday, Prime Rib night, when the first thing that shows up is a huge ad for "Italian Night" on Wednesdays. My husband really liked the sound of that (it WAS a great concept) so we decide to make Wednesday a Date Night. Upon arriving, there was not one soul in that restaurant. I made the comment "I guess I didn't need a reservation for Italian Night!", in a kidding kinda way. He said "Oh! We don't have that anymore"..."they cancelled it a few weeks ago". Again, disappointment. There is nothing appealing on the regular menu to either my husband or myself. Doesn't matter because in all honesty, we started going there because we love the bar. It's a great place to meet good people and have good conversation while enjoying a drink. Frank, the bartender, is one of the best! Now that the place is sold, I hope they don't ruin the bar!!!

I found the place great. The wait staff and management where on top of what was going on, and they all did a get job. The food was wonderful. You can't beat the price and quality. I will be back.

We went later in the evening, and our waitress was not terribly attentive. We asked for water (we gave up alcohol for a month) and were given tiny wine glasses of water, when I asked for a larger glass, she left a pitcher on the table and gave the indication that I should just serve myself (still drinking out of the tiny wine glass that was mostly ice). The food was average, though the enjoyment of the meal was somewhat tainted by the chlorine-smell wafting into the restaurant from the nearby hotel pool. The Boston Cream Pie was EXTREMELY dry. We went because the restaurant week specials seemed interesting, and they were decent, but none of this was good enough to entice us back again.

This was our first time at this restaurant. Overall, we had a good time, great food and good service. The servers were all very pleasant. However, a couple different servers checked on us a lot, a little more than I would have liked. I'm glad they were ensuring everything was going well, but we could have used a little less attention. We took advantage of the NH restaurant week special so the value was good, however the drinks we ordered were quite expensive, but they were delicious. Went for dinner at 6pm, and the restaurant was not too loud. We could easily carry on a conversation across the table. I'm not sure if I would be back based on their regular dinner prices, but maybe for lunch it would be more affordable.

Food has been very good every time we've gone. We are very disappointed that they no longer have the actual Buffet on Prime Rib night though. We enjoyed it far more than being served.

We went specifically to try the Saturday night prime rib buffet. There was no one at the front desk and it took quite a while for someone to seat us and then we waited for a server to bring us utensils and take our order. While service was slow, the buffet itself was quite good, especially for the price (17.98). The prime rib was nicely seasoned, lean and tender and we each had two generous servings. The buffet also included salad, soup and chili, mashed sweet potatoes and loaded baked potato, turkey and ham and a vegetable medley and very nicely sautéed green beans. The buffet was well worth the price and we would go again for a casual and filling meal.
