South of Johnston serves quality, well priced food & beverages sourced locally. Many of the suppliers are smaller boutique companies selling free range meats, wines, mineral waters, fruit, vegetables, bread, cakes & biscuits. Believing in sustainability, the cafe installed 40 solar panels on the roof in 2015 that generate 60% of electricity. Sojo is involved in intensive recycling schemes, free trade coffee, recycled papers, plastics & ongoing community assistance. With an emphasis on community & hospitality, Sojo is an art laden local hub with art works on the walls being collected from local galleries & artists. The lush herb gardens are grown and shared amongst the neighbours to enjoy. The courtyard is designed as a tropical haven for all to enjoy and of course is dog friendly.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and an all round good night. Although, I understand that evening dinners were only a temporary thing, which is a shame because it was a good night.

From the moment you work in the door the customer service is attentive and first class The food was superb, arriving all together and exactly as ordered The decor, flowers, candles all added to a wonderful experience

Fabulous team, attentive service, exquisite food. These guys have got all bases covered. Great tunes spinning but not at the expense of individual table conversations. Perfect breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I was so excited to hear my fav brunch spot was now serving dinner - and they did not disappoint. There’s a really homely, comfortable feel which translates from setting thru to service and the food. Great place for a date or perfect for a catch up with friends. Really appreciated that staff don’t rush you through your meal as well.
