Ok so this was probably the best tacos I’ve ever had. They were interesting and innovative. I mean shrimp and grits in a chili reillino? Who thinks of this stuff. The service was impeccable. The ambience was cool and fun. I loved EVERY minute of my time there... and don’t even get me started on their margarita with a tajin rim!!! I would eat there every day if I lived in Richmond

Made reservations through Open Table. Arrived on time at restaurant and they didn’t have a table. Almost like they had no idea. They put some tables together after a short wait. Server was kind, we had to ask for water, we ordered cocktails and beer, that took almost 25 minutes. This place is small and didn’t appear slammed. I asked our server if everything was ok and she replied “yes”. Our meal took another 30 minutes. Some mix ups on our orders, food came out slow and it took several minutes to all the dishes out. A few were not warm anymore. Then our tab was not right....Our entire experience was just NOT good. The food tasted pretty good. We did not order anything else, after so much time sitting and waiting we were ready to go. Sad, and I LOVE tacos!

We happened to be there on the night they were premiering on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives so they closed early for a watch party. Food was delicious, service was friendly and drinks were cold and strong.
