   First impression not great. Restaurant smelled intensely of acrid vinegar (window cleaner) and receptionist biting her nails. Service was super nice and food&wine good (at very high price). Some dishes not very balanced (eg super sour sauce with sashimi and sour&hard gels). Nice idea with the many small bites with Japanese influence but would not recommend/come again

   Stronly recomend the tasting menu, gives you the full experience, fantastic food, excellent service.

   First time at Sola & what an experience. The food was fantastic. Fresh & very tasty with some interesting new flavours. Love the langoustines on the rock & the 'magic' pudding for theatre. The staff were all extremely friendly & welcoming.

   Wonderful 2nd visit to Sola … food & service (particularly the lovely sommelier) both excellent - can’t wait to visit again

   Third visit to the superb and innovative Sola. Staff polite and informed, sommelier knew his wines. Relaxed atmosphere. Food as always superb with the Californian-inspired menu with lots of Japanese influences. And plenty of theatre. Quality throughout, so expect to pay the premium price.

   A beautiful meal for our 1st wedding anniversary, after seeing the chef on professional master chef, we thought we’d experience his cuisine. Amazing, is all we can say!! Great service, explained all the food and made for a wonderful meal. Highly recommended, and well worth a visit, can’t wait to return, when next home in London.

   Amazing food and really innovative. Portion size was also perfect so you didn't leave needing to loosen your belt and a really interesting choice of Californian wines to sample, though not inexpensive. Well worth a visit...or two.

   Fantastic pre theatre menu we had the upgraded wine pairing it was delicious. Staff were friendly and approachable. The food was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, imaginative (caviar with the chocolate dessert?!) and memorable. This restaurant should be on your list if you haven’t been already. We will be back.

    Whilst elements of the meal were certainly delicious, this was an expensive meal which didn't quite live up to, or justify, the price point. The food was not 100% consistent, some elements of the service were a touch intrusive, and the short wine list was very expensive.
