Sol Mexican Cantina offers the freshest Mexican Cuisine in central New Jersey. The warm, inviting ambience provides the perfect setting for a menu consisting of familiar Mexican standards as well as regional favorites of Oaxaca, Yucatan and Acapulco. Our full service bar carries one of the largest tequila selections in New Jersey - more than 80 and still growing! With a selection of more than a dozen American Craft Beers on draft as well as extensive Margarita and Sangria menus, our downstairs Cantina buzzes with a lively atmosphere.

            We have been going to Sol for years now. Not sure what changed but the food just has not been the same. Not sure if there is a new cook or just becoming lax in their cooking. May be willing to try again but was really disappointed the last two times we went

            Excellent family friendly restaurant. Love that they do not have a set menu with escalated prices for new years! Good service. Friendly personnel!

            Without a doubt the most pathetic $18 ribeye steak I have ever been served. It was as thick as a #2 pencil and about as tasty. I asked for medium but it was tough and gray. the burritoes were 95% rice. Excellent service, if only the food could match it.

            My wife and I went there for dinner on Sunday night. The place was fairly empty. The bar was not appealing and looked more like work area for servers. Food was bland and tasteless. I ordered the cheese enchiladas that were served room temperature cold. Overall not impressed. The restaurant gas potential but needs a new chef and cleanup of the bar area.
