Soju is the most popular liquor in Korea and is a key component of Korean culture. Our motivation for opening Soju Haus was to impact others in the same way that Soju has impacted the Korean people. In Korean culture, liquor and food have always had a strong connection. Since Korean cuisine does not pair well with wine or whiskey, Soju Haus serves its authentic Korean food with Soju and other traditional Korean liquors. Soju Haus aspires to spread the Korean culture throughout New York City, one of the most influential cities regarding food and culture, to create an environment in which people can indulge in delicious food while also getting a taste of Korean culture.

Only takes cash and AmEx. Pretty loud restaurant but the food was good and Soju selection quite extensive. Good spicy bulgogi!

Great food. Would definitely recommend trying the frozen beer. Definitely some of the best Korean food that I have seen in NYC.

Food was great! The drinks were good. Service was pretty good. It just got very loud as the evening went and it was hard to talk, but the vibe was very energetic.

This restaurant is probably great to go with friends and have a good time, it's not so much about the food. The food was good, but nothing memorable. The pancakes were the best dishes. It would have been good for the menu to have a better description of ingredients in their dishes. The service was fine, but could have been better. Beware that it's only cash or Amex.

LOVE! the food and service were amazing. both of us don't eat meat and ordered items on the menu that were vegetarian. we didn't know the kimchi fried rice had spam but our server realized we weren't ordering meat or seafood so he informed us about the spam and had them take it out. can't wait to go back!

Delicious food, service was quick but we didn't feel rushed to leave (we dined on a Tuesday night.) Nightly special mung bean pancake was good. We enjoyed the fried dumplings as well as the steamed shrimp dumplings, plus the kimchi fried rice with cheese and the fried chicken. Everything was delicious! Enjoyed the soju cocktails as well, which were easily split amongst the 3 of us.

The food, service, and overall service were outstanding. Wish they had better wine. It is very loud, but overall a great place.
