Located in the heart of downtown Englewood, we offer the most exquisite steak cooked to your desired perfection, mouthwatering wood-burning pizza, fresh seafood & raw bar, and many other gourmet Italian-American creations.

Formerly known as Smoke Chophouse, this Sherlock-Holmes-esque steakhouse & cigar emporium was transformed (with a lot of time and effort by the owner) into a bright, chic Italian Steakhouse, which continues to hold one of NJ’s only indoor smoking licenses.

Planning a gathering for a special function — corporate event, holiday party, birthday party, bridal/ baby shower or other? The “Garden Room” at Sofia is available for parties of up to 60 people. With its retractable roof, the weather can be another “guest” at your affair during those warm weather months.

Took my husband out to eat for his bday and called the front desk while I was in the venues bathroom to inform the waiter when we order desserts to add a lit candle. The dessert arrived without the candle. I was upset and let them know they let me down. They did not hesitate to fix it. To my surprise they still came through this time with complimentary champagne and sparkles. They totally stepped up and put a smile in both of our faces. The waiter was outstanding. He was very attentative and never let our drinks get low without bringing a replacement. Overall it was a great experience. The music was totally my kind of vibe! I am foodie so the food was not outstanding although it was reasonably good. My husband is foodie with steaks and he was very pleased.

TOO LOUD. Requested specific Booth but hostess gave the booth I asked for to the couple right before me. Never even looked to see my re quest. my other favorite restaurants always honor my seating requests. Could affect my decision to dine at Sofia. A shame as the food and service was excellent

Very good quality food and service. The back area garden was beautiful and enjoyable to sit in. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Loved it here! Came here today with my friend for our Sunday brunch. Made reservations ahead. Food & service were spot on. For brunch drinks- The Bellinis are great! Foodwise- I got the lobster Benedict which was so good. My friend got avocado toast- she enjoyed that too. For desert we had the warm chocolate lava with vanilla gelato. Just delicious! Everything was muah 💋!!! Ambience and decor are bliss! Absolutely recommend!
