Snead’s 1912 reopened with a new concept in response to the pandemic. Seeing a greater need for a fast casual style, we are pleased to bring you the best BBQ in Bath! We are serving an all day menu Thursday through Monday from 12:00pm-8:00pm. Please check out our new menu online!! All of our BBQ, sauces, dressings are all made in house by our team of culinary experts. We are ready to give you the best casual dining experience possible. Thank you again for your support.

We were very disappointed that the venue changed from a fine dining experience to barbecue, not what we wanted while on vacation staying at The Homestead, we can get barbecue any day of the week at home! However, the staff was very friendly and did an excellent job serving us!

We waited over 20 min for waiter to come to table then another 20 to get our drinks. Only 5 tables in our area with 1 waiter-which he should have been able to handle -and 1 food deliverer, For almost 15-20 min waiter was no where to be seen. Food was good but service some of the worse I have encountered in a long time.

Person at reception desk was indifferent and too bored to offer a proper greeting. We were guided to the upstairs patio even though it was raining - I had to ask to sit inside and this seemed to irritate the reception guy. Our waiter was OK though he moved at his own pace. I asked for their house Merlot and was given a Cabernet at $19 glass. Food was, for the most part, tasty though I had to remind the waiter that pulled pork sandwiches came with Cole slaw. Ambiance was the best feature. This restaurant, can make a go of it even with modified menu, but the service staff are going to have to work as a motivated, unified team. Somebody needs to "manage" the place.

We were thoroughly pleased with our meal at Snead's. Their approach to reopening is an "all in this together" kind of feeling: they have a limited menu of casual BBQ options (brisket, pulled pork, turkey). Several choices for sides, and the portions were large. We enjoyed the macaroni if we'd had another night, we would have returned.

Food was good - cheesecake was great! Server determined to do order taking from memory and forgot two things.... always drives me nuts - just write it down! Removed charges when told it never arrived though. Atmosphere was really cool w all the memorabilia.

The barbecue ribs were over cooked. We also ordered the 1/2 fried chicken and received 2 legs, 1 wing and 1 thigh. No breast which was the only piece that I really wanted.

We came here for dinner while staying at the Homestead. They have a BBQ style menu right now due to the pandemic. It was fantastic! We had pork rines as an app and they were amazing. My husband had the brisket and I had a pulled pork sandwich. We will come back here next time for sure !
