A huge shout out to the hostess, who acted as our waitress because the only time the waiter came by was to ask how our food was when we were 3/4 the way through. We sat for 30 minutes before ANYONE acknowledged our presence. To be fair, it was Valentine’s Day, so they were busy. Finally the hostess came over with some wine glasses and offered to open the bottle we brought with us (despite admitting she did not really have any experience opening wine bottles!). Still getting no attention, the hostess took pity on us and took our order. Had it not been for her initiative and nice demeanor, we probably would have walked out. I certainly hope the wait staff shared their tips with her. They deserved nothing. The food was good, but service was a disaster.

Overall it was an okay place. Not great but not bad either. The service was a bit slow for Valentines Day, as in I had to keep grabbing the waiter and ask for stuff. Food was good but not great as they shortened the menu for Valentine’s Day and this was not visible at the time of reservation.

Beautifully presented, colorful, and healthy food options. More upscale (in a good way) than your average Mediterranean place. I hope this little gem catches on as it was pretty quiet when we came in for a work lunch, but it is still early days. Keep up the good work!

Excellent food in a comfortable and friendly environment. Not as hectic a feeling as in some other crowded restaurants on California Ave. I could easily hear my wife without being overwhelmed by the background sounds. Is that good or not?:) Service was attentive without being intrusive. Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of servings. You might want to start dinner with their Spread Sampler that consists of Tzatziki (delicious Greek dip), eggplant puree, hummus dip & pita bread. We will be back.

This new restaurant is a hidden gem. The menu offers very creative and delicious takes on Mediterranean classics. We have enjoyed the lamb and feta ravioli, the generously portioned lamb chops, the stuffed sea bass entrees and the octopus and halloumi appetizers. The kunefe is authentic and delicious and the chocolate mousse is wicked. Most of the dishes are sharable. Service is friendly and attentive.
