   We had friends in town and decided to give Smoke a try since we’ve heard such great reviews. We got there at 12pm and we were the only people there. The food was great it just took a little longer than usual. Not sure what was going on since it was literally just us in the restaurant. BUT with that being said I’d still go back just for the brisket. Side options were good but I wasn’t crazy about their creamed corn. Rudy still has the best one in my opinion. Overall it was good experience and the location is great. I will be back!

   The ambiance was great, we had to sit at the bar even though we had reservations. They had too many parties booked and the space was limited after that even though other got tables after us, it didn't seem right. The food was good but not top of the line BBQ, the brisket as tender but lacked "smoke" it had to be covered in sauce to bring out the flavor.

   Welcoming spot near the Riverwalk and Convention center. Pretty good barbeque with friendly service

   The food was good but the appetizer took over 30 minutes to arrive. Before finishing the appetizer, the food came. The meat was tender and tasty. The noise level was extremely loud. Had the table that came in when we received our food, we would have packed our food and returned home to eat. Most customers don’t realize that other customers are offended by extreme noise. If we return to Smoke, we get take out only.

   After sitting at our table for an hour, we were informed that the restaurant had run out of food and the only options available were chicken wings or burgers. Very disappointing after a great appetizer of burnt ends.

    I want to love this place and the food is very good...when they have it. This is the second time I’ve gone in the past few months when they have been out of several dishes—burgers and brussel sprouts. How can you be out of burgers when you’re a bar and grill?! We ordered the brisket queso which is usually really good, but when they brought our order it had no brisket! Then my brisket sandwich came bare when the menu clearly states it should have had pickles and onions. Seriously, who’s working in the kitchen and do they know what’s on the menu or have access to the recipes? Disappointing.
