    Good food friendly staff. But restaurant was very loud. Not able to talk. Moreover when we asked for the check, they said we need to give our credit card to them to charge the meal to our card. We did it and it didnt work because they were trying to charge without a pin number.

    I would visit the place every time when I am back in NYC. Delicious food, friendly and friendly staff, and the vibe! Today my wife and I were treated with dessert and espresso!

    Disappointing is the best description of our dinner at S & W. Item by item; the calamari was soggy, the Caesar Salad needed far more dressing than was provided and the onion rings were far too crisp. The porterhouse was very, very good but slightly better cooked than the medium-rare requested. When the steak and accompaniments arrived, the waiter placed them on the table with little fanfare, leaving us to help ourselves. This is the first "fine" steakhouse we visited not to start the process by filling the plates. All in all, not a restaurant to again visit.

    A must for a date night in NYC and a must if you simply enjoy steak and the ambience of a steakhouse. The wait staff is extremely courteous, outgoing, & professional. Couldn't begin to put into words how much we enjoyed my experience here.
