   Who is that 5 star Michelin chef making the food? We were visiting from DC where soul food is as visible as Starbucks in Seattle. I wasn’t expecting much but that chef delivered the tastiest fried fish - not over salty like in Maryland. The sides has just the right amount of salt, acid and fat. The service was professionally and we felt catered to as if we were the Obamas. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area again.

   The food was good the drinks were great I enjoyed a tasty lemon drop. The server was absolute sweet; she was nice checked in on us and made sure we had a good time. The only thing was it felt like our food was taking a long time but other than that it was a great experience.

   I always to try support our people especially in the community. My girlfriend ordered the chicken and they were out. (Too newly opened to be out of menus choices so soon). I ordered salmon and it was overcooked and not flavorful. I’m hoping it was just a bad day. 🙏🏽

   This is a very good restaurant, I went Friday 10/27 it hasn’t been open for a month yet and the food was delicious drinks was in point and staff was really nice! The ambiance was great cute space with good music and vibes. It’s really brand new but I know once they get their groove going and figure out the new business kinks this place will be a vibe …… Good luck and ppl go check it out you won’t be disappointed

   Bad across the board, from entry to exit! We went for brunch, which was only offered as buffet which is not advertised anywhere on their brunch advertisements (IG, Facebook etc). Must prepay before you even see what the food options are ($50) which was supposed to include bottomless mimosas. The person at the door collecting money, didn’t have any information to share about the menu/what’s included etc. BUT we still decided to give this new restaurant a try. WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT THEN! Once seated, we waited for over 10 minutes for a server to greet us, we ended up just stopping someone who said “oh just get in line for the buffet someone will get your drinks soon”. They we not busy so we were thoroughly confused as to why the service was so poor. They ran out of glasses so we were given cups for the mimosas that had to be used to drink water also IF we wanted to drink both. I can’t make this up!! At the buffet, they only had paper plates-PAPER!!! There wasn’t many options and what was there, wasn’t full to serve all 6 of us (more waiting for nothing to come). They ran out of eggs (how????) served hot dogs as “breakfast sausages”, the grits were undercooked, the chicken was soooo dark like it was fried in old grease, it was horrible. When the mimosas finally came, they were the worst!!!! Full of pulp and was made with some type of purée! We sent them back but the server NEVER returned with new mimosas! We asked for a manager, the woman said “oh that’s me”. We told her was happened and she said “oh we just opened, our dishwasher is broken, and idk where the servers are but let me clear the table up for you”. Hun???? That’s the answer from someone in management?! Only excuses, no resolution?! Unbelievable! We told her that we wouldn’t return and she just said “awww no”. I swear we were being pranked, had to be. We just gave up and left. What a way to waste $50 per person! Never will we return, never!!
