Advertised as "low country " but menu was not much different than the other 3 restaurants we enjoyed. Crab soup/bisque ( very good). I settled for a filet-Med-rare- which was served cooler than I would have liked. Wife's grouper was excellent.

Wonderful experience. The food was great. We had gazpacho and a grilled peach salad as appetizers which were excellent. My wife had shrimp and grits, and I had the duck. Both were fantastic. The duck was served on a bed of red cabbage which was perfect. For dessert my wife had the bourbon peach cobbler and I enjoyed the banana cream pie. The pie was very good, but a bit different from what I expected. It was a homogeneous banana cream rather than whole bananas with cream which is what I expected. Our server, Mark, provided attentive service. His suggestions were great. Because it was my birthday, the restaurant even provided a complimentary dessert. Thanks

OK, I was in Charleston for the Eclipse... and the food! This is my second time to Charleston and my second time to SNOB. I ate here after the eclipse and was pleased by both the solar event and the wonderful meal. First off, the service was excellent! Very important to me was that the bread that was served was warm, fresh and delicious and included both a corn bread and a sour dough... served with room temperature butter for easy spreading... I was already happy :-) The local grouper was simply but wonderfully prepared... perfectly cooked and accompanied by a delicious corn and white miso sauce that was heavenly. No need for dessert... when I have a great entree... that is my dessert! Thank you!

The food was amazing, in particular the Shrimp & Grits! The presentation, the spices, the flavor were top notch. I would drive a long way to experience this restaurant again!

The shrimp and grits are "lick-the-bowl" good! Interesting wine list with good prices! I'll definitely be back.

While I haven't tried the restaurant for dinner, Slightly North of Broad is a great choice for lunch. The food is creative, but what sets the restaurant apart is its outstanding and friendly service. The staff makes sure you feel like a guest. The ambiance is pleasant, and the location is in the heart of the action.
