    The staff was so warm and professional and the food was outstanding. Crab cake with Parker rolls is a must with Laurent-Perrier rosé champagne - divine! The halibut is incredible and potato beignets - chef’s kiss. Flambé desserts, too! So excited to have Sky Room and Fairmont Breakers in Long Beach.

    Came in last night for my husbands birthday. Our server was Erik and he was great! The star of the show tonight was this beat salad. It was so good! The pistachios and the cheese were 10/10. Ribeye and halibut were also fantastic. Ribeye was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the sauce the halibut was in was delicious. Can’t wait to come back! The general manager Courtney also stopped by and was very welcoming and professional.

    First time since it re-opened. Looks nice but too noisy. Tables were too close together. Food quality was good, small portions for the price, we left hungry.

    My friend and I had an incredible time. I’m so glad this incredible historic hotel was given the restoration it deserved. We got to the SkyRoom early so we had a table by the window with a view; but honestly the food and atmosphere was so good that you’d want to come here even if it wasn’t one of the best view spots in the region! The crab cake the scallops, the beet salad were all outstanding and the bananas foster flambé was delicious and a fun way to finish. I’m definitely going back.

    Another enchanting evening and another culinary experience. The Roasted Beet Salad bedded on Candied pistachios, stracciatella, & pomegranate gastrique was incredible. As was the Hiramasa Kingfish Crudo. Our entrees of Prime Hangar Steak, with a small vessel of Potato beignets, sautéed kale, sauce "au poivre" was prepared perfectly and was so tender. And the colorful cauliflower of the Maine Diver Scallops coupled with fried capers, romanesco, & Ivory Sauce. Executed with the precision of Poseidon - perfectly seared scallops with a caramelized crust on the outside and a tender and sweet inside. Same for the halibut. Marissa was attentive and so accommodating .

    We had an unforgettable evening at the Sky Room! The staff helped me surprise my sister for her birthday, they surprised me as well with the amazing table they had set up for our group! Food was delicious and the views are stunning. I highly recommend.

    This was a great place for a date night. Great views of the city and ocean. The roof top bar was also a fun spot. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking.

    Finally ate there after wanting to since the renovation. The Sky Room is gorgeous! They did a very nice job (I liked it before but it was definitely run-down). I have read mixed reviews so let me identify what I thought was the best and what might be improved. Waiter Service was phenomenal (ask for David, who is impeccable but many seemed to know what they are doing); the young woman who brings around the Flambe Dessert Cart was both excellent at her job and pleasantly entertaining as well. Unfortunately, when we first arrived, the Hostess gave us a bit of attitude because the other couple was stuck in traffic. Eventually they did seat us, which was appreciated. I bring my own wine most places. Sky Room has an okay list and gave me no grief whatsoever over corkage ($50 per bottle) and our Waiter David brought over upgraded glasses for each of our bottles and cheerfully poured the wines with skill and nary a drop! The menu is somewhat limited and changes regularly; the salads and sides were delicious and well-constructed. We ordered 3 of the Hangar Steaks and 2 came out at the desired temperature (mine, alas, was overcooked and a bit tougher than it should have been). The Halibut had an amazing sauce! I regret that no one but me wanted to order the caviar, but we made up for that by having the cheese plate and both of the Flambe desserts (Bananas Foster and Apple) and they were a great way to end the evening! I thought the cocktails were priced too high (affect of the view, most likely) and I was ecstatic that the Valet Parking was only $10. All-in-all it was a very pleasant evening and we will definitely go there again! So should you!

    The new tasting menu is a must try! It totally showcases the chef’s talent. The wine pairing designed by the GM is a perfect combination. Friendly servers and bartenders. Million dollar view. Thank you the fabulous Sky Room Team!
