   Great food this year, this is our 3rd Christmas at Sylvester’s and this was probably the best. Service was also first class.

   If you go with a fixed menu, be prepare to eat what’s on the fixed list. There is no “pick one of these 3 options”. You’d better like things like oysters, caviar, and raw tuna. If so, you will probably enjoy. If not, you may be wasting your money. There was nothing wrong with the food, but the menu was just too foo foo for me.

   I would recommend dinner here to anyone looking for a delicious, sophisticated and affordable meal in Sydney CBD. My partner and I both had the Silvester’s Experience for dinner. It was absolutely sensational. The food, service, wine, and atmosphere were all perfect and we couldn’t fault anything! They were also very accommodating to my GF dietary requirement and there were plenty of options!

   Excellent meal, only gave 4 star for ambience because some people may prefer a bit more intimate but we loved the open kitchen with excellent prep and care of each course on display as well as the impressive cleanliness and great teamwork led brilliantly by the hands on head chef. Delicious and well thought out plates, generous extras, loved it, will recommend and return.
