   Adventurous recipes and delicious dishes with such surprising flavours that resulted in lots of Yummms from us! Staff were super knowledgeable - they really care about ingredients, the story behind the suppliers and thoughtfully inform you about each dish. Cocktails and wine were great too - definitely worth getting their special taster menu.

   Lovely staff and decor but food was eye wateringly expensive for tiny plates. Not a single carb on the menu, we left hungry :(

   Worth giving it a try for something different, as long as you aren’t too concerned about the size of the bill! The food is interesting, but vastly overpriced, as is the wine selection. The road noise was quite intrusive when we were there, but only because the unusually hot weather necessitated leaving the door onto the street open. I applaud the original and innovative creation of the selection of small plates (of which we tried a good selection), but nevertheless fail to see how they can justify their prices, and this is particularly true of the wine selection.

   Another meal at Silver Lining, and another wonderful experience. Fantastic food - this place remains a hidden gem in Hackney, and long may it remain. Imaginative and clever food creations perfectly cooked and assembled, and wonderful service. What more can you ask for? Tremendous value on the Carte Blanche menu option - highly recommended!

   Food was interesting but a lot was bland. I guess good for vegans but as a meat eater I wasn’t that impressed

   Excellent dinner with creative & delicious dishes. There's was 3 of us, so we just ordered the whole menu to share which was a great shout! V pleased that this restaurant is near my home! (great cocktails next door beforehand too!)

    Wonderful little gem in Hackney. Our server Chardonnay was a delight. Every dish was full of flavor and depth. Highly recommend this place to anyone in East London or anywhere. Worth the trip.
