If you find yourself dreaming of the Texas Hill Country, savory comforts, spice, and the sultry depth of a fine Burgundy, you’ll be pleased to know about Signature at La Cantera Resort & Spa.

The menu is straightforward and beguiling, featuring contemporary interpretations of classic dishes — fresher, brighter versions of traditional cuisine enlivened with unconventional Texas spirit. Gulf seafood conspires with Atlantic Coast oysters flown in fresh, and the Hill Country is well-represented year-round. Local and organic ingredients change the menu as the seasons peak and wane, but the constants are quality, flavor, artistry in the kitchen and a warm welcome when you walk in the door.

    Our Easter reservation was at 1:15. We were seated at 1:35. We did not have cocktails this time. Drinks were delayed, as were salads. We received our entree at 2:40. There was a delay in getting desserts. Food was mediocre. We finally received our check at 3:40. The restaurant was not busy during our time at Signature. Our group was disappointed in the overall experience.

    We went with our children and grandchildren for the set menu Easter Brunch. Everything was perfect about the experience- service, food, ambiance and menu. It was delightful!!!

    Emma was a great server. She knew her stuff and enhanced the experience. The peppercorn rolls were unbelievable. The fruit tray for the water was a nice touch along with the dessert tasting. Would definitely recommend.

    Amazing food that may have been the best we have had in San Antonio. Texas-Mexican-French fusion. Service was also amazing. First class. Highly recommended.
