   BEST ITALIAN FOOD & WINE LIST IN SAN DIEGO! We have eaten here nearly every week since its opening in 2020, and we will continue to do that because it's ALWAYS excellent! Flavio & the team have created the best combination of food, service, attention, value, & LOVE for their guests, which is why we all come back so often. We see the same regulars every week! Seafood is exceptionally fresh! Pizza is true Napolitani perfection! Pappardelle with Lamb Ragu is my other favorite! Wine list is mostly Italian and loaded with excellent options - the Zibibbo (white) and Ripasso (red) are our go-to's.

   Eduardo and the other staff were all so great, constantly checking in to make sure we were ok throughout the meal and so kind! Food and service was great!!

   The service & good were excellent.Enjoyed the white pizza & both pasta dishes.Gnocchi was our favorite dish we all enjoyed.

   We absolutely love coming to Siamo Napoli, the food and service are always spot on. We just returned from two weeks Italy, and our visit immediately took us right back. The food is authentic and reasonably priced. Our server was friendly, gave great recommendations and made us feel welcome. I loved seeing the mix of patrons…there were families, couples, and everything in between. We sat for two hours and the place was packed the entire time. Noise level is very high, but compliments the atmosphere. Love this place!

   Found this restaurant on a local website indicating it was one of the top ten Italian restaurants in San Diego. My wife and I had tickets to the Old Globe Theater in Balboa Park and this restaurant was convenient to that location. The food and service was excellent. From the time we got there, you could feel the positive vibe first with the service and then with the food. I am Italian. I grew up in my dad’s Italian restaurant and have eaten throughout Italy. This was as good a meal as I’ve had in many years. We ordered the burratina appetizer. The burrata was fresh and creamy alongside thinly sliced tomato’s and greens topped with just the right amount of olive oil and balsamic. The Margherita pizza was fresh and the dough was just the right amount of fluffy with a tasty light char on the crust. My papperdele with lamb ragu was delicious. My wife had the lobster ravioli special and it also was excellent. The portions were large and could easily feed two. I wanted to try their highly rated lemon cello cake for dessert, however, it will have to wait until our next visit. The parking lot in the back can be a little hard to locate as the entrance is not on the street where the restaurant is located.

   I was so looking forward to dining here and yet so disappointed with our experience. We love Italian food. The menu seemed authentically Italian and most of the reviews seemed to confirm that. However, if you're just looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, this is not the place. The pasta dishes were overcooked and overly-sauced -- almost looked more like soup than pasta. One in our part ordered a fish dish which, too, was smothered in a heavy tomato sauce. That is not how food is prepared in Italy. None of us ordered pizza, however, so perhaps that is their strong suit. Otherwise, the food was mediocre at best. The most important reason I would never return to the restaurant, however, is the noise level. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 9. That, obviously, does not bother young people as the restaurant was packed. It is in a trendy and lively neighborhood which is great. And if I were in 20s or 30s, I would have probably enjoyed the noise, too:)

   Wow what a great meal. This is the BEST italian fried of on the planet. Outstanding food and service. Highly highly recommended this place while in San Diego !!!
