   My family has gone to the Shorebreak almost weekly (May - Dec) for about 5 years now. But the love affair has come to an end. Which is a bummer...because there are a lot of nice things about the restaurant, aside from the food. Last night, among other items, I ordered a hamburger (plain) for my son. It was a to-go order...we were going to eat at home. When I arrived to pick up the order...the burger wasnt quite ready. No big deal, I can wait! I saw the burger come off of the grill. The cook was preparing it with his bare hands. Not a super big deal...lets give him the benefit of the doubt and assume his hands were surgeon-clean. The cook realized that the cheeseburger in front of him was supposed to be plain hamburger. He needed to get rid of the cheese. So he looked around him and grabbed the dirty rag that he just used to wipe the counter. He used this rag to wipe the cheese off of the cheeseburger to make it a hamburger for my son. Then he brought it to the cashier - to be packaged with my order. I asked the cook about the rag and the girl working the register immediately asked me if I wanted a refund. I did. My problem here is related to health and sanitation. If you want to get violently ill...then I'd def tell you to go to the Shorebreak. If not - then maybe another spot is a better choice. Isabellas seems like a good choice...and its right next door.
