   Dined here on our last night at Santa Barbara resort. Hostess gave false information about nut content of breads (she said the banana bread didn't have nuts, told us to "cut it open and check". Waiter knew the ingredients, though. Appetizer of fried mixed seafood was such an odd presentation, basically a cereal bowl full of fried tiny scallops, etc. Sauce tasted like plain mayo. Others at my table thought their meals were just ok (risotto, beef, seafood stew). I had pork loin, was awful. I asked for it cooked through but it was so dry and over cooked. The chutney on top had a heavy Indian spice that made it inedible, it was so strong. My 18 yo so ordered a second alcoholic beverage. We, his parents, said "no". The waiter heard this. He brought the drink anyway and gave a laugh as he put it down in front of my son. Who does that??

   Food is 5 star. Service excellent, and friendly. Dined 7 nights during 7night stay.

   Restaurant is right beside the Caribbean Sea with an open concept. Can be windy in patio area though. Lots of room between tables - perfect for a nice quiet dinner. Varied menu covers all the basics with a daily 2 for 1 fish and meat selection. The red snapper and beef tenderloin were excellent choices. Beef tenderloin was perfectly done to exactly how we like it. Very good wine list with prices from $36 USD and up with numerous glass selections at $8 USD. We had the same server for the 3 times we ate at The Shore - she was excellent, remembering our names and drinks each time and went out of her way to make sure our 2 for 1 fish selection was available the next day even though not on the menu. This restaurant is high recommended and you should make reservations. The restaurant is closed Mon and Tue.

   Shore was a perfect spot for my birthday dinner, and we enjoyed every moment of it! We were seated quickly, and our servers were friendly and went out of their way to make it a very special evening. They even unexpectedly brought a delicious slice of cake for dessert, complete with a birthday song and a sparkler! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

   We had a great meal from beginning to end at Shore restaurant. The service was great. And the live music was phenomenal. Truly a very enjoyable experience.

    My biggest issue were these nasty beetle flying around. Not little beetles but big ugly bugs. Worst part is there were dead ones all over the floor on the patio and dining area. We can’t control Mother Nature , at least pick up after her. Especially at a restaurant
