   First time at Shiso . Many problems finding it,was fortunate to run into a greeter in the courtyard. I requested outdoor patio table online but was told patio was closed on Sunday. The server was friendly but non attentive and was unable to explain the menu. Portion sizes etc. The drink service was slow. The food was basically good. Not exceptional as we had hoped. The restaurant is extremely noisy. Impossible to talk . The price for what we ordered (no main courses) , no dessert was hefty.

   Absolutely blown away by Wynwood's latest gem, Shiso, the new culinary masterpiece from acclaimed Chef Raheem Sealey. From the moment you step inside, you're transported into a breathtaking space that effortlessly combines stunning, contemporary design with an electric vibe that's pure Wynwood Miami chic. The outdoor rooftop area is particularly impressive, offering an ambiance that's as vibrant and artistic as Wynwood itself. The eclectic food menu is nothing short of extraordinary; each dish felt like a delicious adventure, beautifully plated and bursting with unexpected flavors. It's one of the most expansive and unique menus I can remember seeing, and there are so many dishes I would go out of my way to visit for. (Especially the Oxtail Udon Noodles dish, the numerous hand rolls, and the showcase chicken dish.) Equally impressive is the innovative drink menu, showcasing creative cocktails that are as visually appealing as they are delicious. Every sip and bite at Shiso feels thoughtfully crafted and uniquely inspired. (Must try's are the carajillo, and the "sangue italiano") The energy here is fantastic. The perfect blend of sophistication and laid-back cool. Whether you're looking for a trendy night out or a memorable dining experience, Shiso delivers in spades.

   One of the most beautiful roof tops in Miami. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was well trained, knowledgeable about the menu, pleasant and professional.

   From start to finish, Shiso blew us away! We tried a variety of dishes and everything was truly outstanding. We started with the oxtail gunkan, scallop crudo, shiitake mushrooms, miso cornbread with uni on top, and the shiso chicken. For dessert, we had the sweet potato cheesecake and flan donuts—both were incredible! My sister’s favorite was the scallop crudo, but I have to say, the Shiso chicken was my top pick—Chef Raheem truly knows how to cook chicken, and it’s hands down his specialty! Every dish was so creative (who puts salami on scallops and expects it to taste magical??), making it hard to choose, but we loved how unique everything was. The menu is designed to showcase meats and fish, with a perfect balance of smoking and seasoning that feels both elevated and authentic. Shiso is doing exactly what it sets out to do, not too much, not too little. The ambiance is also fantastic! The space is so vibey and cool, with fire music, graffiti on the walls, and a super original lucky cat — it complements the food perfectly. Special shoutout to Jonah, the bartender, who was incredibly attentive and kept checking in to get our feedback. And big props to the Chef Raheem, who took his few minutes of free time in between cooking rounds to go check on customers and make sure everything was going smoothly!! We really appreciated the personalized touch—it’s clear they care about their guests. The drinks were on point too, and the prices were super fair. In a city with so many similar restaurants, Shiso stands out as something truly refreshing and different. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a unique, flavorful experience in Wynwood. Can’t wait to come back and try the entire menu!

   What an epic night!! we felt privileged to be one of the first people to have a reservation for opening night! Weil, some of the staff had first night jitters… It added to the charm of the experience!! Hands-down, one of the prettiest restaurants we’ve ever seen!! Chef Raheem is clearly an up-and-coming rockstar- we’re fans! What’s not to miss… Besides the BBQ ribs being one of the best things we’ve ever eaten… The sushi and the Wagyu are out of this world! Even the beef sushi was incredibly good… Yes, sushi made with cooked Beef! So for those who want regular, incredible fish Sushi AND for people who don’t eat fish… What an excellent combination!! Perfect date night place for sure!! The ambience, the beauty of the space… Mixed in with the music… the tone was set for a perfect night out in Miami!
