   Its as bed as the hotel poor attention to detail dark and dingy. Menu confusing as there are two menus but they only serve one. No condiments on table. Waiter did his best. They have a good cook but just don't know how to create a restaurant and serve in it

   We made a reservation through open table, they picked up our booking and organised our table in advance. The whole experience was quick and efficient. The food was filling and tasty! I had the mushroom arachini which was a lovely starter. Our waiter Hollie was fantastic and knew both the Sunday lunch menu and drinks menu like the back of her hand! Hats off to Quorn Country Hotel, it seems to be very popular in the area! We were told that they have just been awarded a rosette by the AA! We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great lunch!

   Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was exceptionally tasty and service was great

   This was a really disappointing experience. Having booked a table early 12.00 for Sunday lunch we were greeted and shown to a group of tables in a sort of alcove off the restaurant which was okay but very unappealing. we were told the meal would be with us in 15 minutes despite not having seen a menu . 10 minutes later a staff member apologised and handed us some poor photocopied sheets for a menu. We both chose beef whilst waiting another couple arrived and chose a starter of soup, which arrived tepidly warm it was sent back. Our beef arrived and the beef was warm and tender but the Yorkshire was stone cold on both our plates it must have just been defrosted , the roasts were burnt , the vegetables all burnt were jammed into a small soup . The sweet was ordered the fruit salad was inedible and my wife's Chocolate moose hard . A truly awful experience , never again.
