   We arrived a few minutes early but they refused to seat us because we booked on OpenTable. They said we had to call the restaurant directly. I even showed them my OpenTable reservation along with the confirmation email and response. They did not offer a another time or day for us to come back. We went to Matzaluna’s and they were super nice!

   Chef was entertaining but his food was so bland. It really lacked in flavor. After the chef left we had to add soy sauce to jazz it up. Salt and pepper would have greatly helped. Yum yum sauce is not your traditional. Their sauce must be a mustard base. Wasn’t terrible but definitely not what people expect and was disappointing. The waitress made little side comments that made you feel rushed. We had been seated maybe 1 minute and she comes over saying “we are already behind the serving schedule” and asked for our order. We hadn’t even looked at the menu yet. Like I said, it had only been a minute. There is a automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill but the waitress made a it clear to everyone that they have to split the tip 5 ways. I’ve never been to an overpriced restaurant or any restaurant where the server suggests that I need to add more to the gratuity. If you’ve never been to a Japanese steakhouse before, this would pass but if you’ve gone numerous times you’ll most likely be disappointed.

   Food taste and quality was amazing. The person cooking the food did a great job and had the entire table laughing from beginning to end. Will definitely be going back

   Restaurant hard to find inside resort. No sushi or sashimi available only tableside grilling. Food over salted. Chef was charming and talented but the entire experience was extremely disappointing.

   Always a show and always top quality food cooked to your specifications right in front of you. Especially entertaining for families with children as the chef engages them in a delightful fashion. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

   The only negative was how FREEZING cold it is in the dining room, even when the hibachi grill is blazing. They should provide blankets and jackets for their guests if they are going to keep it that cold. (Requests to have the AC adjusted were met with “So sorry; we don’t have any control over the temp.) Otherwise one of the best hibachi experiences we’ve ever had—the food was outstanding, as was the chef’s engagement with us at the table.

   Had the best time. The food was amazing and chef was even better. He entertained our group of 6 and really focused on my two teens. Everyone had a great time and laughed the whole time.
