Set in the idyllic beachside town of Lennox Head in Northern New South Wales, Shelter is your home away from home, whether you are just passing through or you’re part of the local community. With the community in mind, we endeavor to use ethically sustainable, seasonal products sourced from local producers and suppliers. We are also keen on cultivating and creating awareness of the importance of supporting local growers while educating people about the food they consume as well as where it’s from and how it’s produced. Our in-house co-ordinator will make preparation for and the running of your day a breeze as we include liaising with the chefs and suppliers, run sheet and coordination on the day. ACCOMMODATION - CUPOLA Recently and tastefully renovated, highlighting the sun from the moment it rises until the stars come out at night, this little nest above our restaurant is the perfect place to stay after your celebrations. Shelter in Lennox Head truly exceeded our expectations! The chef's tasting menu was an unforgettable culinary journey. Standout dishes included the oysters, sashimi, octopus, scallops, and snapper - each one more mouthwatering than the last. Every bite was a masterclass in flavor and texture, with each dish melting in our mouths. We couldn't pick a favorite, as everything was perfection on a plate. If you're a foodie looking for a memorable dining experience, Shelter is a must-visit!

We were celebrating a birthday and opted for the Tasting Menu. We were so glad we did...everything was delicious, especially the sashimi. The staff were attentive, informative and fun! Highly recommended.
