   The food is good and it’s a fun adventure, cooking your own stuff. The music (awful synth - pop) is almost a deal breaker though, at least for me. The AYCE deal is weird, since everyone at the table has to do it. Not really necessary anyway, since even the regular size entree is plenty.

   This is my favorite place to take friends that have never tried Shabu before. Always a fun and delicious experience for them.

   I only gave one star because we left before we ordered. The website was not clear about the food -- and how expensive it is. I think for a different type of event it may be fine. they were very nice. But not what we were looking for.

   Pretty decent food. Meat platter looks meager but, believe me, there’s PLENTY to eat. Vegetable platter (with tofu + noodles) is quite substantial. You get rice + ice cream in the end so be prepared to EAT!

   We went to Shabu House for my wife and daughter's birthday for the first time based on their Open Table rating. We ran late but they were understanding and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and the people were very nice. The quality of the food was very good with tender meats and fresh, crisp vegetables. We'll likely go here again in the future.

   Overall everything is what you would expect, relatively clean, decent food good ambiance. Service was a bit lacking. Wasn't bad, wasn't necessarily good, but it was just there. Felt like she was forced to work an extra shift which no one wants to do especially on a Friday night. However we did get everything in a timely manner and they did up on us. The setup was also werid, one person taking orders for the entire place and someone else would bring out the food, had to admit, never seen that before.

   It sucks that if one person chooses AYCE, everyone on the table has to do the same. I understand the concept behind it, but it really just shows how much they trust their patrons. Otherwise, the staff are friendly and courteous.

   I was able to make a reservation on a Friday evening through the website. Though when we arrived they said they did not take reservations for two people. This was the first issue we had. We decided to sit at the bar to be seated right away. It took a while for the waitress to take our order, about 15 mins. Then the table next to us was a drunk loud party which was not acceptable. After another 20 minutes we got our soup. Waiting over another 20 minutes we got our vegetables and then another 20 our meat. Our soup had been boiling over that time and already was almost halfway gone. The service was not great at all. Finally we had the chance to eat our food. But did not receive our gyoza until halfway done with our meals. The food was good, overall the service was terrible. I would not recommend not come back

    I eat a lot is ShabuShabu in Japan, so maybe I’m biased. Overall quality wasn’t so great.
