   Our server was patient with us ordering and so attentive. He made us fresh coffee with the Bailey’s we requested, and topped it with freshly whipped whipping cream We will definitely be back

   First visit to Serious Pie-Ballard. Our service was outstanding. The kale salad was amazing. Had the mushroom pizza with truffle, which was delicious. The fennel+ pizza was wonderful. A little chilly inside with the door open but otherwise great!

   The Brussels sprouts salad was delicious. The pizza crust was perfect. Very tasty too. My husband was very disappointed that he couldn’t get chicken or turkey on the pizza. We don’t eat pork or shellfish (kosher), so they only had vegetarian options. He ended up just getting a cheese pizza which did not make him happy. The drinks were delicious but very expensive.

   I’m serious about pizza. Working on my Napolis pizza at home, with wood fired oven. The crust at Serious Pie is awesome. Only slightly thicker than Napoli pizza. Crunchy air filled salt flaked cornicione. Great chew. My favorite is the sweet fennel sausage. The contrast with the tart tomato sauce & pickled peppers! My wife’s is the pear and blue cheese (seasonally off the menu 😟). Last night she had the mixed mushroom with truffle cheese. Delicious!! Probably our current favorite pizza in Seattle.

   This was my first visit dining in at the Ballard Serious Pie. It had been take out only through the pandemic. The pizzas are as good as ever. The crust doesn't conform to a standard pizza style but is very flavorful and tender. Toppings are very high quality. We also tried the panzanella with peas and asparagus which was outstanding. There is a focused selection of well made cocktails (we had Negronis), beer and wine. This is a great option for locals who want Serious Pie without the tourist crowds at the downtown location.
