Right in the heart of downtown Frankfort, this restaurant is the perfect spot for a date night, dinner with friends, or to even host an event in the private party space. Chef Tim McGowan uses fresh locally grown ingredients to create the menu at Serafini. The dishes here combine traditional Italian cuisine with down home Southern Kentucky cooking. Appetizers include choices like bruschetta or pimento cheese wontons. Grilled Berkshire pork chop and Risotto del Giorno are just two of the entrees from which to choose. No meal in Kentucky is complete with some Bourbon and Serafini has an extensive list from which to choose.

Very good, chef inspired food. Surroundings are very nice, staff is great. Probably my girlfriends favorite place to eat, we go on special occasions. Not cheap, you will pay a lot more than going to some chain place like Appleby's, but then again you get a WHOLE heck of a lot more, plus you won't find food like it anywhere else around the Frankfort area. I highly recommend it.

Great food, wonderful server. He was very attentive and recommended things all night. My husband and I enjoyed almost everything. It was a little awkward how close to the front door and to the table to the right of us was. The couple at the table beside us seemed to know everyone so it was pretty loud most of the time. But besides that we enjoyed all the food and service.

On a not very crowded night, we waited more than ten minutes to even be approached by a waiter. The food was so-so. The steak was dry. The appetizers and desserts were acceptable, but not great. These prices should be accompanied by great food and service.

I was disappointed with my dining experience. The food was mediocre. The table was right by the bar and the kitchen. There was a reception which made the noise level extremely loud. People at the bar hovered close to the table. It was the worst seat in the restaurant! The waiter was very pleasant.
