   What a total delight to experience artists at the height of their game. Both versions of the menu (one being vegetarian) were exciting, fun, interesting, and so so SO delicious. Each course was also visually gorgeous. Evocative. Often delicate—even when you want to lick delicate right off the plate. You can really feel how much thought and love must have gone into every dish. And truly, not one miss or boring substitution in the vegetarian adaptation—that almost never happens! Every single course was satisfying and scrumptious and so appreciated. This is clearly a kitchen that knows and loves plants. The wine pairing was exceptional, and the additional bottle we ordered based on a spot-on somm recommendation was one to remember. The dining room and open kitchen are beautiful and the ideal scale. Intimate but unobtrusive. Pretty fabulous art—ceramics included. Finally, Chef was such a gracious and involved host. The entire staff was likewise warm and charming while operating (seemingly) seamlessly. F*CK what a great meal! Thank you. Bravo, all. PS- Shout out to the friendly security guard stationed outside near the garage entrance. He must have noticed us looking around getting our bearings after being dropped off across the street, and he came right out to greet us and show us in to the restaurant entrance. I’m not sure if that’s his job or not, but he made a great first impression for the restaurant. Credit where credit is due :)

   Just about the most incredible dinner I’ve ever had. Every plate is thoughtfully arranged, with ingredients you never thought would go so well together. Every bite was delicious and unforgettable. I will never forget the flavors of the celery root and venison tartare, or of the chamomile and olive oil dessert. So innovative and daring! The restaurant itself is elegantly appointed - there is a purpose for every piece of furniture you see. We fully intend to return and try the full tasting menu next time.

   My dinner at Seline in Santa Monica was truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the exceptional customer service set the tone for a fantastic evening. Our servers and chefs were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an outstanding experience. The menu was a masterclass in culinary innovation, with each dish expertly crafted to showcase the finest ingredients. Standouts included the truffle milkshake, a rich and decadent treat that perfectly balanced earthy truffle flavors with creamy sweetness. The bass was cooked to perfection, with a delicate flavor and silky texture that simply melted in our mouths. One of the most unique and intriguing dishes was the caviar with hazelnut coffee gelato, a bold and unexpected combination that somehow worked beautifully. The subtle bitterness of the coffee perfectly complemented the salty, luxurious caviar, creating a truly unforgettable flavor experience. The old-world wine pairing was top-notch, with each selection expertly chosen to complement and elevate the dishes. The sommelier's knowledge and passion for wine shone through in every recommendation, and each pairing added a new layer of complexity and enjoyment to the meal.    We had a nice experience celebrating our anniversary at SELINE. I will say this was the most expensive meal we’ve ever eaten - (and yes we did order both drink pairings for the full experience).

   My wife and I went to Seline last night. The food was excellent and the eclectic wine pairings complimented everything so well. We liked the open kitchen / dining area design and the fact that everyone that worked there just seemed excited and happy to share what they came up with. All in all a great experience!
