   I made Opentable reservations over a week in advance. Received 2 follow up email confirms. Arrived on time and asked where the restaurant was. The perplexed employee, said "upstairs, but they're closed, have been". Went upstairs and found a closed up restaurant and then a manager. LOVELY woman, who said that we were welcome to sit in the long since closed restaurant, but the bar served the same food. She was kind, attentive, even doting. Food was fine, salads good. Entrees well prepared. Even a pleasant surprise on the wine menu (beautiful old Italian). Guess it was better than eating at a closed restaurant (#awkward and #onlyinNH - I guess).

   Great place to eat during the Highland Games. Right on site. Easy in and out. Plenty of seating. It was off season so nothing was mind blowing but everything was good.

   Shrimp & scallop scampi nicely presented and tasty. Eggplant pasta dish not very fresh but very abundant in size. Enough for 3 meals!

   Had an outstanding experience at the Black Diamond Bar/Season Restaurant last weekend. We started with the bacon beer cheese dip with warm pretzel bread and clam strips. The dip was amazing...ordered extra dip to enjoy with our bread! The clam strips were really fresh and flavorful. For our meals we had the philly cheese steak mac n cheese and the meatloaf sandwich, which had bacon and blue cheese crumbles....YUMMMMMM!!!!! The service was excellent - friendly and prompt. We are definitely returning.

   We had dinner there for Thanksgiving! We had thought opting out for a nice sit down meal and not going in for the Thanksgiving buffet would be a nicer way to go. Boy were we wrong. It is basically pub food. I would compare it to a 99 restaurant. The service was good but out expectations based on their website were off base. Our server was awesome!

   I first told them I had reservations but it did not matter as I was told. Also very un-organized seating . They should of had one person seating but they where short staffed and very busy...waited long time for check.

   Arrived into Lincoln a day after the Scottish games, and the city was empty and few restaurants operating. Open table provided very good guidance for this traveler (+2). Although the Seasons area was closed the bar servers the same food. Bryan, our server was friendly, accommodating and knowledgable about the food and wines. The fish dishes were superb. Will return if in the area again.

   If you're tired of comfort food give this place a try. Varied menu good wine and beer. Enjoyed the dinner and will definitely return.

   Good presentation on the plate and very tasty. Very friendly staff, made us feel right at home. Salmon Creek merlot was great too.
