   Don’t let the “tavern” name scare you away. Quite place with nice jazz music playing. Small and welcoming. Service was great and food came out in a timely manner.

   The food was very good! It did not take long to get it. Our server was very friendly. The drinks were good. The atmosphere was quaint and lovely and very clean. Only small complaint is they asked if we wanted water or sparkling so we picked sparkling. They did not tell us there was an up charge of $8 per bottle! Only small complaint. We will come again when we visit Corolla.

   Such a great find in Corolla! Quaint with great atmosphere - a step up from the typical restaurants in the area. Variety of food from shrimp and grits to chicken Parmesan. Food was delicious and service was great.

   Ignore the outdoor tables. They are in an alley, we had an air conditioner above dripping on our table and there were too many flies to enjoy our food. Food was average. No offer of grated cheese for either the Alfredo or chicken parm which I view as a server issue. If there is a long wait, certainly not worth it.

   A little gem in the middle of this north end of Corolla, food was great, well prepared and the ambiance was relaxing. Very nice!

   I definitely would recommend this hidden gem. Food and service were excellent! We were a little hesitant about dining here after reading some of the reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised. Our server was very attentive. The crab cakes were delicious. The crab spaghetti had a wonderful flavor. To top off our delicious dinner we had the cannoli which were excellent. The drinks may have been a little pricey and perhaps adding some local craft beers to the menu would be nice. Overall we had a great experience and hopefully will be going back again next year!

   We stopped in on vacation. You have to make a reservation. Menu is very misleading. Was expecting a nice restaurant for the menu and pricing. Food is not fresh farm to table. Our food was cold. We had chicken Alfredo which is incorrectly priced it's $30 not $21, and Rigitoni Ala Vodka. My husband's food was tasteless and luke warm. Italian food but dont serve any bread. Service is slow and staff seems disinterested. 2/10 stars. For $141 I expected more.

   Thank you for stopping in. We are sorry your experience was not as you expected. Our menu is not misleading, exactly what is on the menu is what is served.. Your Alfredo was not priced incorrectly. Sauce only is 21, with chicken which is what you ordered is 30. It is exactly what is on the menu. What you experienced in terms of service and food we can apologize for that but for our restaurant and decor it is very nice. Not everyone would like the same thing because we are not all the same and that is completely fine. People work very hard to create a space for others and I understand not being impressed with what is created but just leave it at that.
