   This is the second visit first being lunch. On this recent occasion we ate frome the A la cart menu.the menu is small but offer a lovely choice of seafood & steak dishes cooked to an excellent standard,service is swift and very professional. We will be back!!

   Had the crab ravioli, it's served swimming in butter which makes it very sickly. Will hive it a miss now.

   I had read a few poor reviews...but please ignore them...food was fabulous..all 4 had stake cooked to perfection..onion rings are to die for..drinks good choice..and service was fabulous...we where totally shocked in the bill..£124..4 adults all stakes3 beers and 3 wines...will definitely be back..

   What an amazing please. Fine dining on the doorstep. The Maitre de is sensational and the staff attentive and friendly. The food is incredible and the wine list, top class. The best dining experience in Sunderland by a mile.

   The manger is amazing really gives fantastic customer service. The food is really good and really good value for money. The restaurant is lovely and warm and relaxing.

    Service was very very slow deserts took ages and were frozen and cold.

    Dear Sandra, Thank you for taking time to give your review and we would like to apologize that the experience didn't match your expectations. We are sorry you felt the service was slow, but as your party ordered several well done steaks the cooking time is unfortunately long. The food arrived to the whole party at the same time, when the well done steaks were ready to be served. We don't freeze our homemade desserts, they are stored in the fridge and heated before serving, so I cannot imagine them being served as frozen. Best wishes, Anne Ebdy Restaurant manager
