   I was very disappointed coming to this restaurant. They claimed they didn’t have my reservation even though I just received this open table request. They seemed short staffed which caused horrible service. The food was awful. We never were given water and the server only came by twice. We spent good money here to only be disappointed.

   The food is always excellent at Sea Wolf. The staff is courteous and attentive, especially the hostess on Saturdays. Prices are well suited for all to enjoy various menu items based on your budget. Great place for a date.

   We arrived 1/2 hour before our reservation (which was made 2 weeks ago)and were going to have a drink at the bar because we were celebrating a 40th birthday. There was no room so we asked if by any chance we could be seated early because we saw our table for 6 sitting empty. They said we could not so we left and came back at our designated time. They had no room for us. After 20 minutes of rude comments to us they offered complimentary drinks to other diners and moved them around to seat us. No complimentary drinks offered to us.

   The worse restaurant experience of my life!! I’ve been this Seawolf location a fan since I moved to Bushwick but after tonight-never again. We’ve waited almost an hour for our drinks, when the food arrived, no silverware and no napkins, even though I asked the server for it. The 2 dishes, out of 3 ordered, were brought out but still no silverware and no napkins, after the person who brought out the food said that he will bring them shortly. He never did. We had to take them ourselves. My order was not available any longer and I was told that half an hour after my order was placed and after the two other orders arrived. It was ridiculous. Absolutely a horrible experience. I’m done with Seawolf.

   Food was solid. Price is decent not great. It's good for a meal ahead of a show at Brooklyn Made. Had the burger, calamari and wings. The wings were a bit too saucy and not crispy enough. Burger was solid with very good fries. Probably liked the calamari the best.

   This place was a great location right on the corner of a happening spot in Brooklyn! Hi energy, lots of fun stuff in the neighborhood. Ambiance was excellent, they had outdoor seating and the corner section had two large roll up doors that were open to the perfect weather we had that night. Our waitstaff were excellent, friendly and attentive. The Food was well prepared and flavorful. Prices were on the higher side and my only disappointment was the shrimp cocktail & 1/2 lobster were very expensive for 3 shrimp and a small lobster. The clam chowder, salmon, the burger and the drinks were all excellent! We would definitely go back!!!

    Maybe it had to do with the wildfires in Canada and the hazardous smoke affecting New York City. Something was clearly off that evening. Let me start off by saying that our waiter could not have been friendlier or more caring. He was exceptionally nice and professional. His service at our table also was attentive and overall impeccable. Yet, I don't understand why the three tables around us where the guests had left were left unattended. There were empty plates, bottles, glasses, and cutlery all over the tables. Really surrounding our little semi-corner table. This made for a highly unappealing ambiance. In New York City, you usually have busboys or the waiters themselves clear the table. There were only two other tables with dining guests that night, so I don't know where the shortage came in. Our waiter was busy, but why didn't the hostess chip in? And where was the manager? This is where a manager needs to pay attention to, especially in a restaurant as expensive as Seawolf. Now we're at the price issue. We were a party of three and shared the Half Tower, which was really, really good. Here, the price was right. My husband and myself each had "The Ridgewood," not knowing that this would be a sandwich; it was not described as such. While very good, it lacked a bit of substance, with only two tiny pieces of steak and one piece of lobster, and a bit of side arugula. For $38, I would have expected a bit more. My friend's steak with lobster pieces was $68, which I would have never paid, but he was happy. The kicker, though, was my asparagus side which clocked in $6 for three (3!) tiny stalks. C'mon! It's asparagus season, put five stalks on the plate and we're good, but three is ridiculous. The restaurant closed early that night, with a last call at 9:45 pm, which was okay with us, as the chairs are very uncomfortable anyway. I will give this place another try and see what my experience will be like then.
