You can't help but relax in the picturesque grounds of the Scenic Rim Farm Shop and Cafe.
Nestled within the productive farming fields near Kalbar, in the Scenic Rim and steeped in country charm and warm hospitality.
Sit under the shade of the towering Jacarandas. Enjoy barista-made local coffee and house-made food bursting with local ingredients created by Chef Kate Raymont.
Shop an array of local produce, cheeses, and gourmet pantry items.

    Choose from our range of house made cakes and local barista made coffee. Please note - This is not a lunch option - this is purely a coffee and cake selection. If this is the only option to appear, this means one of the following: You may be booking for a time slot when our kitchen is closed. 10:15am-11am - kitchen is closed to change over to lunch but coffee and cake are still available. 2pm-4pm - kitchen is closed after lunch but coffee and cake are still available.     Set menu guests enjoy the best seats in the house! The perfect way get together with friends in our beautiful grounds. This is our required lunch option for groups over 12 people. Enjoy generous shared platters of: - Slow roasted brisket nachos, corn salsa, herbed yoghurt - Poached chicken salad, with apple, greens, walnuts & buttermilk dressing - Roasted Seasonal Vegetable Salad - Dessert: alternate drop of house made tarts. All can be gluten free and dairy free and other dietaries can be accommodated. For children (under 10) we offer a $27.50 meal of Chicken Schnitzel and chips followed by their choice of Ungermann Bros icecream. We also now stock a fabulous selection of alcoholic drinks that you can enjoy with lunch!

At each stop, you’ll have the chance to pick fresh produce, enjoy a delicious snack, and sip on a carefully paired drink. The afternoon culminates under the shade of towering jacarandas, where you can unwind and enjoy a two-course meal featuring Scenic Rim Farm Shop favourites. With great company, exquisite food, and live music, it’s an unforgettable experience—leaving you with a full belly and plenty of fresh produce to take home. Dress: Garden Party. Flat shoes recommended, hat (sun), and layers for warmth. Dietaries: For this event we are only able to accommodate Gluten Free dietary requirements - this must be advised in the special requests section at the time of booking. Seating requests: If you are part of a larger group and wish to sit together, please add this in the special requests section.

    Our family enjoyed a lovely day under the shady tree for a long lunch. The venue is perfect for a family lunch, and the food was excellent, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the wine is great value. I thoroughly recommend the Scenic Rim Farm Shop Cafe.

    If you love gardens and picnics, this is a perfect place to visit and only an hours drive from Brisbane. You can eat under the shade of beautiful Jacaranda trees or enjoy the ambience of the farm from the verandah of the cafe. The flower farm is seasonal and is a very easy stroll to enjoy and view the flowers. A great spot for a days outing!

    Lovely experience sitting under Jacaranda trees in shade. Very family-friendly- plenty of space for littlies. Very high quality food- both savoury & sweet and welcoming prompt service. Highly recommend as an easy drive from Brisbane.

    We waited an hour for our meals, I do understand it was Easter Sunday, however an hour is a bit long, and second time we missed out on the chicken Snitty burger . The food was delicious.

    We always have the best time having lunch at the scenic rim farm shop. Our son loves to move and run around so we don’t often get to sit down for lunch but this is the perfect place to eat with kids, we just set up a picnic blanket next to the table and it’s perfect. Food is always great and fast to come out. Happy to drive an hour from Brisbane for a meal here, we planning on more family lunches here soon!

    Hmmm, help diners decide where to eat? You must visit this place, it is beautiful. Not only beautiful surroundings, but the service is great, the staff are all friendly sky and to top it off the coffee and breakfast was fast, hot, fresh and tasty.
