   We ordered the crab cakes Benedict, chorizo sandwich, & passionfruit soufflé with the bottomless beverages. Food was pretty tasty, but service and drinks were substandard. The waitress and bar tender were focused on taking pictures of the drinks rather than service. The 2 we ordered mimosas were inconsistent (very different glasses in regard to size & ratios-both very OJ heavy). Service overall was very slow between food and drinks. Also, the shelves behind the hostess station were extremely dusty.

   The wings were not crispy. The fried fish sandwich I bit into it and a gush of oil, hot oil came out. The chicken parm was bland. Unfortunately will not return. Also what bar doesn't carry amaretto?

   I wanted to love this place. Very friendly server and great decor, but the food was mediocre. Everything was bland and would have been helped immensely with some salt and seasonings. Even the Bloody Mary was heavy vodka and light on the mix. They have a great place here; they just need to go back to the drawing board on the food and beverages

   We were there to celebrate a birthday. We didn’t know there was going to be another birthday celebration with about 75 people. Way too noisy for us. But of course Myra was wonderful!

   I’ve lived in the area for a few years and this is my first negative experience at Scarlet Oak. There were only two waitresses for afternoon brunch. The hostess and waitress took their break at the same time and also at the table next to us. Seems like staff should not be out front when on break, especially when short staffed bc I had to go to the bar to get my own drinks and it’s confusing as a patron to see them sitting down talking instead of helping when there is a clear need. It took entirely too long for food to come out, nearly an hour for a shrimp salad, chicken breast and fries. This was my first Sunday eating here but seems like the better hostesses and waitresses come on prime time days.

   Great environment and value! Food was incredible…fresh and delicious! Hector was our Server, he was excellent and very friendly! We are going back tonight because it’s so good?

   Went for brunch. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was very good as well.

   The service is always good. I typically go for happy hour, but I went for brunch with my kid this time. I will continue to be a customer here.

   One of my favorite places for brunch in Navy Yard. The food is always excellent and tasty and you cannot beat the price for bottomless mimosas. Always ready for Sunday to come back to this place

    Food was good, but service was horrible. We had to chase the waiter down every time we needed something. Waiter would pass by our table and not even make eye contact to see if we needed anything. Once we were able to order our tacos came out cold. Food flavor was excellent
