   I chose to go here for my 50th birthday and it was such a great choice! Beautiful atmosphere, great food and great company. The waitress was so nice and professional and attentive. I will definitely be coming back. I loved the fireplace when I first walked in to the right and I thought that would be a great place to meet a friend for a cocktail.

   The Filet Mignon is unbelievable. The Red wine reduction sauce is to die for. Always friendly staff , nice romantic setting.

   Arrived for 7:30 reservations and was told they were running behind and would be 10-15 minutes wait, turned into a 45 minute wait which everyone with reservations said they were waiting, hostess did not handle this situation very well as they kept telling everyone the same wait time which was not true at all. Waitress was very good and food was very good but the beginning of the evening really soured the night

   We went here for Valentines Day. Typically love the Scarlett Oak but I felt a little like I was at the 99 this time. LOts of people waiting in the tavern made entrance/exit crowded. Seating was crowded. I appreciate the brown paper table covers for saving water but perhaps something a little more elegant would elevate the experience rather than being utilitarian. I compare Scarlett Oak to Toscas for special occasions but I think Toscas is a better pick for a romantic dinner and Scarlett Oak for everyday dining out. Our server was wonderful. very attentive.

   First of all, our reservations were for 6:30 but we weren’t seated until almost 7. However, once we were seated, our meal and service was excellent. Our waitress, Abby, was wonderful. She was very attentive and pleasant. Dinner was very tasty. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner. The restaurant was crowded, but this showed that it was worth the wait . Noise level was higher than normal but tolerable.

   Absolutely loved Scarlet Oak! It was recommended by a friend. We sat at the couch next to the fire and it was so cozy! Extensive wine list and delicious oysters! I would definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

   Brunch ham omelette was barely warm when delivered, eggs were dry, just folded over. Disappointing

   We chose the Scarlet Oak for its location and a friend's recommendation, for a lunch with family members. It isn't too far off the highway sort of half-way between all of us. It is a huge old tavern-style restaurant with lots of function rooms as well as a large and interesting dining room. Service was wonderful and attentive without being overbearing. Saturday at 1PM, the parking lot was very full, but there were a number of parties, receptions, going on. Food was good, my daughter and I had the Seared Tuna Salad which was delicious and perfect. My Gluten-free son-in-law enjoyed the Cobb Salad with chicken which looked fresh and excellent. Those who had sandwiches said they were fine. The lunch menu wasn't as large as I had expected for entrees beyond sandwiches and pizza. We will probably choose it again for a treat in that location.

    The food and service were outstanding. It was a special occasion being my mother’s 89th birthday and we were well cared for the entire meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.
