   The seafood fra diavolo was very good, but the trout was a little dry. The sauvignon blanc was the worst wine either of us ever had. The service was very good, the waitress was attentive and did not charge for the bad wine. I would go back but would try other restaurants first.

   Sauce on the Creek was a major let down. Pizza was on level of Papa John’s. The $50 lamb was small (five little slices) some of which were half inedible fat. The Bolengese pasta was missing the vegetables that usually go into a proper Bolengese. The best item we had was the chicken Parm. Sauce on the Creek has a very extensive wine and spirits list. We drove to Sauce from Vail and it was a mistake because the quality was a little better than Olive Garden but at a much higher price point.

   The food there is amazing. The people are so nice. This is my family’s favorite restaurant in Avon.

   I truly never write reviews but had to for this one. This dinner was honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered the ravioli of the day which ending up being $35 and tasted like frozen ravioli. The chicken parm was extremely thick and burnt on the edges. The actual worst part was the meatballs. We ordered the penne a la vodka but asked if we could sub meatballs for chicken. When it was brought out initially they forgot the meatballs so the water went to the back and brought us a small bowl of two dried up meatballs. No one ended up touching them. Thankfully they took those off the bill but I would never recommend this place to anyone.

   We have enjoyed Sauce on trips in prior year but were somewhat disappointed on this visit. While our arancini appetizer & Caesar Salad were excellent, we found the Penne Ala Vodka without much taste. Our server was attentive but the appetizer & salad were served at same time-I guess we should have specified when ordering.

   Excellent service & delish dishes! Convenient stop near Bachelor Gulch. Our apps & salads came to the table within a few minutes of ordering. Staff was very friendly! Will be back for sure!

   The service was friendly and quick. The focaccia bread was AMAZING and all the other items were delicious as well.
