Led by Co-Founder & Chef Will Bowlby, Kricket is known for its contemporary take on Indian flavors, earning a well-deserved spot in the Michelin Guide. Now, we’re bringing their signature boldness to Berlin for a seafood-focused menu that blends the best of Sri Lankan and Indian influences. What to Expect For two nights only, Chef Will Bowlby will be behind the pass at Sathutu, creating a one-of-a-kind tasting menu with a focus on seafood. While the full lineup will be revealed closer to the date, expect a dynamic mix of flavors, spices, and techniques that reflect both Kricket’s and Sathutu’s modern approach to South Asian cuisine. (Please note: Due to the nature of the menu, NO vegan or allergie alternative options will be available for this event.)

    Very good food, inspired by Sri Lankan cuisine, intensive, surprising, spicy (medium level for me), we can fully recommend it! Good natural wines (but not only), very friendly and fresh service.

    Sathutu hat leckeres Essen, netten Service und ein angenehmes Ambiente. Leider würden wir trotzdem nicht wiederkommen, da die Preise unverhältnismäßig hoch sind. Zum Beispiel kosten ein paar kleine Stücke Paneer fast 20€. Da bekommt man in anderen Lokalen im Prenzlauer Berg deutlich mehr geboten.

    Wunderbares Essen, kreative Cocktails, sehr engagierter Service, schönes Ambiente. Am Abend unseres Besuchs gab es leider ein Problem mit der Abluft, was uns dazu bewogen hat, früher als geplant zu gehen. Zudem wäre ein größeres vegetarisch/veganes Angebot auf der sonst sehr abwechslungsreich gestalteten Karte toll!

    Sathuthu is Fine-Dining auf Sri Lankisch. Nicht nur haben uns die Gerichte und Aromen zurück auf den wunderschönen Inselstaat versetzt, es war auch ein Erlebnis postmoderner urbaner Küche in ebensolcher Atmosphäre. Gepaart mit hervorragenden Cocktails und Naturwein hatten wir eines der besten kulinarischen Erlebnisse in Berlin.

    Das Essen hat mir geschmeckt und war ausgezeichnet, nur sind die Portionen winzig und die Preise für die kleinen Portionen recht hoch. Wir sind der Empfehlung der Bedienung gefolgt, ein großes Gericht sowie ein kleines Gericht pro Person zu bestellen und haben allesamt hungrig den Laden verlassen. Das hat mich geärgert. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich, hätte in Details aber etwas aufmerksamer sein können.
