Each week, we serve up a different roast, rotating between favourites like crispy porchetta, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, roast beef, or crackling pork belly. No two Sundays are the same, but every one is delicious. Each plate comes with: Roast potatoes – with rosemary & garlic Baked carrots – with sherry dressing Charred broccolini – with chili & garlic Parmesan Yorkshire puddings – golden & fluffy Rich beef jus – the perfect finishing touch Prefer something else? Sasso italiano had a brilliant atmosphere and the guy who sat us was polite and made everyone feel welcome. Food was out in 10 minutes on a fairly busy night. Overall highly recommend

Pizza and Pasta was really good! Dessert were all disappointing, we had three different ones. Service was not the best.

Had the feast which was lovely, the staff were mostly great the first waiter spilt beer over my son. The rest of the service was great. Would certainly eat there again

We booked a table for four and were greeted warmly by our server, who was lovely throughout the evening. While the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff courteous, our meals—four pasta dishes—took about an hour to arrive. There was a small hiccup with my drink order, which I needed to follow up on, but the team was attentive in addressing it and kindly offered complimentary fries as a gesture of goodwill. That said, the pasta was enjoyable and well-prepared, which made up for some of the wait. Overall, while the experience had some delays, the quality of the food and the staff’s friendliness were appreciated.
