Desde su apertura en octubre de 2013, el Sarma ha el lugar de referencia de Somerville para disfrutar de la cocina de inspiración del Medio Oriente y del Oriente-Mediterráneo. El chef y copropietario Cassie Piuma sirve pequeños platos informales cuidadosamente elaborados que derrochan sabores fuertes y destacan su excelente maestría culinaria en la combinación de especias, texturas y colores. El bar del Sarma abre todos los días a partir de las 17:00 y sirve cócteles caseros y una gran variedad de cervezas artesanales y vinos eclécticos. Los clientes esporádicos siempre son bien recibidos y atendidos por orden de llegada, pero se recomienda encarecidamente reservar con antelación. We liked the service and ambiance. Drinks were creative. Some of the small plate items were quite good. But the rest had a cacophony of flavors that did not work well. Some dishes were too sour. Main entrees took a long time to arrive so several people in our party had finished while others were waiting. Not many options for dessert.

The food is fantastic. We have never had a bad dish and each one tasted like it was just prepared especially for us. Our waiter was a little grumpy, though, when we asked about the special plates that are brought around. We were also informed that there was already a reservation for our table at 8:00 and we needed to be gone by then.

Sarma never disappoints. The food is superb, our waitress was attentive and had a great personality. This is my favorite place to eat

My new favorite resultant. I love everything about this place because it’s how I envision the perfect dining experience. Small plates to share, delicious food, warm ambiance and great service.

Wow! I now know why it's so difficult to get a reservation. Sarma is really special with very unusual, absolutely delicious food. Every dish was a surprise, every dish was beautifully prepared and unique. I can't wait to go back.

Sarma is our go to celebration spot and is always incredible with their selection. Love the rotating menu that plays on seasonal foods & the incredible wine list.

This was our second time at Sarma's. Everything was very good but not as outstanding as our first time. I think this has to do with the Waitresses recommendations. We ordered different things this time and they weren't as "wow" as the first time but still very good.
