   Service was a lot better than last year. Food is way over priced for what you get.

   There were 4 people in our group. We chose this place because we were in Saratoga for the weekend, for the Traverse Race. We all agreed the food was way overpriced. Our waitress did not check in with us until the bill was dropped off. We realize this is a busy time, and I'm sure the prices go up for this particular weekend, but still lunch was a disappointment.

   Terrible attitude and service from the staff. Overpriced food. would definitely not go there again and have said as much to many friends.

   The food gets worse every year and the prices get higher. Very poor quality food and exorbitant prices. I think Center Plate should take a page out of the book of the food service providers at Monmouth Race Track in New Jersey, very high quality food and reasonable prices. Someone from Center Plate should take a look at their menu and try to replicate it at Saratoga. I don't know how NYRA lets them get away with serving such awful food. I intend to contact NYRA to let them know personally about my experience. Also, there should be a dress code for the Club House patrons. The sloppiness of the people who are admitted to the clubhouse is totally unacceptable. It's okay for the grandstand crowd, but not the clubhouse. There used to to be standards for the clubhouse, but they are totally gone. I've been coming to Saratoga for thirty years and since Center Plate took over, it's gotten worse every year.

   We have been going to Club Terrace for years. They have changed their policies over the years and have made it progressively more difficult to book. Currently, when you book at Open Table, there is a message that you can cancel within a certain timeframe without penalty. I was told by NYRA this is Open Table’s policy and not theirs, therefore, the fee to reserve the table is not refundable. Beyond the hassle of booking and their policy, this past year they changed their menu. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for the better. There used to be much more healthy and fresh options. A lovely veggie and Mediterranean platter is now pita chips with hummus and babaganoush. The lobster roll, which was one of my favorites there, is now a lobster grilled cheese, which seems a strange choice. On the plus side, they seem to have better drinks with more selections now, but overall the food menu is much more limited.

   Our server, Richie was great. The location of the table, not so much. We are REPEAT customers and get crappy tables despite my requests. We leave great tips, are easy customers so I don't get it. The fish and chips was the special - they should make it a regular item. Please bring back the lobster roll! And more menu options in general, it is too limited and too expensive. Maybe have a rewards program for repeat customers.

   Would only recommend it if you were going to the track. It was not crowded but service was slow because they did not have enough wait staff. Some charges popped on the credit card that were not ours. They seem to have a problem with seperate checks.

    Dirty , smells from kitchen , bar water and garbage cans. Pretty seedy. I was embarrassed for my company. Staff /service was pretty much nonexistant, saw one eating leftover food off plates at station.......DON'T CONFUSE THIS WITH TURF TERRACE ON 3RD FLOOR. Don't waste your money
