   This place is a hidden gem. The food was amazingly fresh and delicious. We tried several items, including sushi/sashimi and it was all so good! We will come back for sure!

   I found it to be a bit pricey as I only selected 2 rolls and yet each were just about $20 each for 8 pieces. Our waiter was kind, personable and had some great recommendations. I really enjoyed his professionalism with a human touch! I also enjoyed the noise level. Was able to catch up with my friend and not feel like we are yelling to each other. The restaurant is a bit dark so I had to use my flashlight to see the menu which oddly enough shined brighter than usual. All in all I would definitely go back

   This is my go to Japanese restaurant. The food is excellent and absolutely nothing to complain about.

    I'm Japanese, and the nigiri and sashimi were the most incredibly tiny pieces I have ever seen, not to mention incredibly highly priced even considering significant inflation. The sashimi was no more than a tiny sliver not big enough to chew and only enough to give you a taste of the fish on the tip of your tongue. The size was equivalent to taking the last section of your little finger past the last knuckle and slicing it in half vertically, and I have tiny fingers. Lunch cost over $130 for what I pay $60 at other authentically Japanese restaurants with traditionally expected high quality. I used to eat at this location when it was the traditional Japanese restaurant, Masa's, but I will not return to this new business. There are other traditional Japanese options that don't have such inflated prices that are also coupled with an unbelievable decrease in portion size.
