   This was our 2nd night in a row dining here. That should say it all. The experience was so amazing the first time we came back to enjoy things we didn’t get to try the first time. Morgan, our waitress was amazing and remembered our names from the night before. The second experience matched/topped the first. Hedan (? My French is terrible) the bartender was most accommodating as well. He mixed my wife one of his own concoctions based on what she said she liked. 👍 It was spot on.

   Expected a better menu considering the reputation of the chef. Most of the menu was beach food, which we had for lunch. Lunch was very good. The same menu for dinner. Disappointed in the choices for dinner. Had the lobster pasta dish. The lobster tasted fresh but the pasta reminded me of reheated leftover pasta. Considering the reputation of the hotel I expected better food choices and better quality in the food.

   Obviously beautiful view. Food was average for the price you pay. Worth it for the experience if you want to spend the money.

   1. Everything you ask the answer is” reserved for the guests of the hotel”, even if the place is vacant 2. You should control the notice of the large tables, they tend to drink too much and start shouting

   Beautiful!!! Great job with the renovation. The music was great l. The bar is beautiful. Drinks/food perfect. Glad to be back.

   It was my first time back to Eden Rock for a lunch with my teenage daughter since Hurricane Irma. I have had many happy moments at the hotel/restaurants in the past and was looking forward to the occasion. The meal was absolutely incredible, The smell wafting from the gift shop, to the non stop attentive service made the meal incredible...but the view of sea and my child’s face made me melt during the meal. I was sure nothing could be better. Sadly it changed quickly. After lunch (during a very quiet week in St. Barths) we walked to the many, many open lounge chairs for a quick swim. I had even mentioned it to my waiter prior to finishing my meal who politely informed me to “check with The Beach Boys” (probably no longer an OK term to use in 2020 but that is not the issue). After my child went into the water and I was happily observing from one of the 3/4 empty chairs on the beach I was told very brusquely to vacate the area as the chairs were ‘For hotel guests only”. (In a loud voice!!!). I politely informed them I had just spent 2 hours at the hotel spending $$ eating lunch and was a ‘guest’ for the moment. In fact, my waiter informed me to “just see The Beach Boys” if I wanted one of the 40 open chairs that particular very slow day. However, the “Beach Girl/boss” of the beach was not interested and clearly had other direction. I was unceremoniously told to leave or to ‘go see if there is a spot by the pool”. It was like I was stealing something from Eden Rock, really humiliating in front of the two miniature dogs who were allowed to grace the lounge chairs instead of myself. I left the Eden Rock that afternoon, moments before I had experienced perhaps my best meal on the island ever, deflated and embarrassed. If I could give my experience zero stars I would. Clearly there is an effort to disenfranchise long time clients (and maybe new ones) to the lovely venue. My take away is simple. If you are not a celebrity, guest, or a dog of aforementioned do not come.
