   Food and service were great! Pretty quiet for a Saturday night dinner @ 7:00pm. Only thing that could of been better is the seating arrangements. Me and my wife were there on a date and they wanted us to sit with an entire family party while the rest of the restaurant was empty. Because of this, the cooks back was to us the entire Time making it impossible to watch him cook. Would of like a more private setting.

   Way too expensive for the poor quality sushi and Japanese food overall. There are much better options for the same price.

   My wife and I chose our 6th anniversary to do a shopping trip to buffalo (we're from Toronto) and very glad we finished the night at this restaurant. We love Teppenyaki (hibachi) and have been to many type restaurants around the world and never thought that one of the best would be in suburban Buffalo. Everything from the service to the food was perfect. Deffinatly a neighborhood gem.

   We went to Samurai to celebrate my husband's birthday. He loves sushi. Our dinner was fabulous. He ordered three different rolls and I ordered the teriyaki chicken (I do not care for sushi). It first I was worried that I would not be able to find anything to order, but have no fear for the non-sushi people - the restaurant has plenty to offer. My husband ended up cleaning his plate and I also had nothing leftover. The food portions are a good size - not too small, but not too large either. I always feel like I am wasting food when I go out to eat because most restaurants gorge you. I would recommend Samurai and we will definitely be returning.

   If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would've! My fiance and I tried this place for the first time on Valentine's day. Two hours to get food that was sub par, horrible wait staff, confused and horribly unorganized. We will NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND this place. It was awful!

    While I made my reservation online, they did not have it on their books when I got there. They honored it anyway and we were seated right away. From the moment we sat down it was a waiting game. I know it was a holiday but you would think they would have stepped up their game. The food was mediocre at best. After waiting an hour and forty five minutes for our food, it was almost not worth it. Definitely not worth the trip and the amount of money spent for the evening. Would go again for a quick lunch on the weekend, but never again for a special occasion.
