   I wanted to love this place more but dinner started with the sun directly in my face for almost an hour. The restaurant needs to add shades around the entire restaurant. This not only led me to sweat profusely, but I couldn’t enjoy my food as I was blinded most of the time. Food was okay. I was hoping for some type of rice dish apart from the sushi, but some of the food I saw on Yelp wasn’t even on the menu. Not sure what happened there. When we asked the waitress for her favorites - she wasn’t sure which was strange and then realized she probably hasn’t gotten to taste everything as has limited knowledge. I would attempt to try again maybe in a few months when the restaurant has more experience. For now, they seem to be searching for their sea legs. Aside from that / the restaurant got extremely loud and I had almost lost my voice by the end of the night. There were two birthdays which were quite loud as well as the music. UPSIDE - we were there for about 4 hours and they did not rush us whatsoever. I appreciate this since a lot of restaurants now have time limits.

   Such a delicious restaurant. The cocktails were top notch too. We had a near miss with a sesame seed allergy and the management handled it appropriately. We could have done without the servers jokes on choking though. Will definitely return.

   Amazing food, all the fish tasted fresh and seasoned with just the right amount of sauce. Highlight of the night was the wagyu short ribs 🫶🏻 - it was so tender and juicy! I would come back again!

   A new staple in the Arts District. This place has the best Handrolls I’ve had by far (they were ALL incredible) and to compliment them, their Yakitori are phenomenal. I’ve been here 3 times now. They have validated parking on E 3rd Street as well as street parking and paid parking right in front of the restaurant. Service is amazing. Very attentive and nice staff. WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK AGAIN! Don’t forget to try the cocktails/drinks!

   Had many hand rolls with the scallops and uni being my favorites. Lobster dashi pasta was spectacular along with the spicy tuna crispy rice. Everything was very good!
