   I had had an excellent dinner entrée there previously and ordered it, lobster ravioli, and ordered it again, an excellent choice! The dish was attractively presented and tasted every bit as good as it looked. I ordered the sauce on the side so I could be assured of enjoying the different tastes and textures of this item. On the other hand, I had breakfast there, heard a server sneeze nearby and then watched her continue to wipe table with the cloth she had been holding and arrange tableware with both hands. While I didn't see if she sneezed into the air, into the cloth in her hand, or her bare hand, she sure should have gone and thoroughly washed her hands!

   Decent “fancy” food but not overwhelmingly amazing for the price. Super expensive!

   We dined during the work day. We had to ask 3 different people just to take our order. Eventually the hostess took our order. The food came in a reasonable time, but no one ever checked back. After being there 1 hour and 10 minutes I had to leave. I left my credit card, got our friends to their appointment and came back to get my credit card. Slowest service ever. The people were nice but just couldn't handle the 6 tables. At lunch it is important to be able to get in and out in under 1 hour and 20 minutes.

   Our 1st visit was in the afternoon during a heavy downpour and after driving through numerous road detours to get to Rochester, and after checking into our bait and switch "hotel" room, we needed a respite. Lightly occupied, we chose a high back chair seating by the windows instead of the lounge area. This was a good choice, as it was quieter and offered a view of the rain storm. Some dude in a wheelchair smoking a cigarette parked himself directly in front of us for awhile, which we thought was weird. Other than that, we enjoyed a Chilean sea bass and fruita de mare with large grilled shrimp for dinner along with a bottle of Malbec, crem brule and scotch for dessert. We returned the next afternoon for a couple of drinks, but on a Saturday afternoon, they we understaffed and I had to tell the food server on how to make a gin martini. They didn't carry Tanquery gin. Friday's the best, Saturdays, not so much.

   Restaurant is under appreciated. Good location outdoor seating good wine selection. No wait Hope to return very soon

   Salute delivers solid food in a nice quiet environment. Some decor a bit outdated yet pleasant. Service is reliably pleasant and good. Prices are very high. The wine list has consistently higher prices than other restaurants in town on the very same wine.

   I was disappointed in our server. We were getting good service until a table with obvious executive patrons took a table near us. After that, our server's focus was on them. I had to return to work and left my money with a coworker. When she paid, the server was going to keep the entire amount as the bill plus her tip. My coworker had to call her out.

   Waiter was too busy doing other things. For example, in the middle of taking our order, he just stopped and went to help hostess clear a table. Meanwhile, the restaurant was not busy. He neglected to tell us the evening specials or we could order half salads or portions. We overheard another waiter addressing her guests after we had placed our order. Had I known that, I would have order something completely different then what I settled on. Food was good. Waiter was more interested in the table next to us!!!!
